Who we are
Aria is an AI companion service operated by Yieldenza Pte. Ltd. (“Yieldenza”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Singapore. Aria is delivered through WhatsApp. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@yieldenza.com.
Information we collect
- Your WhatsApp identifiers — the phone number and profile name that WhatsApp shares with us when you message Aria.
- Your messages — the text, voice notes and media you send to Aria, and the replies she sends you.
- Things you choose to tell her — for example your name, preferences, interests, the people you mention, and other context you share so Aria can be a better companion.
- Safety information you share — if you use Walk-Me-Home, the location you choose to share for that trip and the trusted contacts you designate.
- Usage information — timestamps and basic technical records needed to deliver messages and keep the service reliable and secure.
Aria only knows what WhatsApp provides and what you choose to share with her. We do not buy your personal data from third parties.
How we use your information
- To hold a natural, continuous conversation and reply to you.
- To remember context between chats — your name, your rhythms and what matters to you — so Aria feels like a friend who knows you rather than a stranger each time.
- To send the check-ins, reminders and gentle nudges you ask for.
- To provide the Walk-Me-Home safety feature, including notifying the trusted contacts you have designated if you ask Aria to, or if a check-you-arrived step is missed.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and improve how Aria works.
Who processes your information
To run Aria we rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only to deliver the service:
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — delivers messages between you and Aria. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Anthropic — the content of your messages is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate Aria's responses.
- Cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services) — securely stores Aria's data and runs the service.
- Twilio — used only to send safety SMS or calls for the Walk-Me-Home feature, where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private conversations to advertise to you.
Legal basis (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Your consent — when you enter your number and opt in to hear from Aria. You can withdraw it at any time (see below); this does not affect processing already carried out.
- Performance of a contract — to provide the companion service you asked for and hold the conversation.
- Our legitimate interests — to keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and improve how Aria works, balanced against your rights.
Retention
Aria keeps a memory of your conversations so she can stay consistent and personal over time. You can clear this at any time by sending “reset” to Aria, or by emailing privacy@yieldenza.com. We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and delete or anonymise it after that.
Your choices and rights
- Access & correction — ask us what we hold about you, or correct it.
- Deletion — ask Aria to reset, or email us, to erase your conversation memory.
- Stop anytime — simply stop messaging, or block the number, and Aria will not contact you again.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP, resetting, or emailing us.
- Object & restrict — ask us to stop or limit certain processing.
- Portability — ask for a copy of the data you provided in a portable format.
- Complain — if you are in the EEA or UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law. Contact us at privacy@yieldenza.com and we will honour them.
Children
Aria is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use Aria. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
International transfers
Because our providers operate globally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described here.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be communicated through Aria.
